In its nine year history Colibri Competition has established itself as the go-to event for aspiring young performers eager to showcase their talents and receive valuable feedback from a distinguished panel of judges.
Every participant comes to this competition with hopes, dreams and aspirations, but also anxieties. The Organizing Committee works hard to make everyone – judges, parents and performers alike, feel warmly welcomed and appreciated.
We create structured, and yet warm and positive environment for the jury members to evaluate the participants and reach the consensus on the winners. Each jury member has an equal voice and given opportunity to express his or her opinion in a frank and open environment meant to nurture, encourage and promote young aspiring artists, not just establish winners.
We gather a top-notch panel of jurors who take their task seriously and responsibly. All aspects of performance, including artistry, nuance, and character are always taken into consideration.
